PSY 4720-01 Abnormal Child and Adolescent Psychology, Fall 2015 & 2016
This course is an upper-level psychology course focusing on understanding the emotional, behavioral and health-related mental health difficulties experienced by children and adolescents from a developmental psychopathology perspective. We discuss factors contributing to childhood mental health difficulties as well as evidence-based methods for diagnosis and intervention.
Student’s understanding of abnormal child psychology will be facilitated by various learning experiences including chapter readings, lectures supplemented by case examples and videos, in-class discussions, a group project and an individual paper. It is my goal that by having a better understanding of factors that contribute to abnormal child psychology you will make the world a better place for children and adolescents.

PSY 5810 Clinical Practicum (Clinical Vertical Team), Fall 2016
Beginning in Fall 2016, I will be leading a CVT focusing on evidence-based assessment and intervention of mental health difficulties commonly experienced by children and adolescents.
